Starting from menswear popular in South Jakarta, Renaldi (Aldi) gradually built Tenue de Attire into a fashion brand sought after across Southeast Asia. To handle major holidays, like Eid and New Years, Aldi needs to accumulate massive inventory in advance. Invariably, this requires substantial working capital to purchase materials and pay vendors to avoid rushing production.
Aldi and Tenue de Attire sought a partner that could help them figure out a financing structure that allowed them to repay when they had cash after holidays and shared risk and reward. KarmaClub assisted them in creating a revenue-sharing funding structure and helped connect them with potential investors.
KarmaClub and Tenue de Attire have been working together for 2+ years across three projects. Aldi's also contributed good karma back into the Karmapreneur community by becoming a resource for other entrepreneurs who want to learn about using social media for branding.
