Helping a Bandung-based shoe brand plan their working capital

Geoff Max

Efwan and Yusuf were friends in college and shared a strong interest in fashion, especially shoes. In 2013, no local shoe brands were perceived as cool by the young generation so Efwan and Yusuf decided to start Geoff Max to offer sneakers that could compete with foreign brands.

Inspired by skateboarder Geoff Rowley, they produce high quality sneakers that are comfortable and trendy. Through quality shoes, they want to empower the youth and make them feel proud of what they are wearing.

Following the success of the Geoff Max line, they have launched new brands to penetrate larger markets including Athletica (sports wear) and Rebase (affordable sneakers). Innovation is at the heart of the company and the key to their continued success. Their R&D team intently listens to customer feedback and keeps iterating their products to provide superior quality.

We've helped Geoff Max to raise working capital beyond Bandung to produce those quality products in a financing structure true to the founders' values and beliefs.
